Dr. Elif Demirkan
Elif Demirkan wasborn in 1963 in Ankara/Turkey. Shereceived her B.ScandM.Scdegrees in Biology at Hacettepe University/Ankara in 1986 and 1988. In 1987, Sheworked as researchassistant at Ankara University.Shereceived her Ph.D. degree in Biology at Ankara University in 1995. From 1996 to 1998, Sheworked as a post-doctoralfellow on protein crystalllization at Kyoto University in Japan, supportedbyTUBITAkand Kyoto University. From 2001 to 2003, sheworked as a postdoctoralreserachassociate on Structure 2 Function Project in Center for Advanced Research in Biotechnology (CARB/UMBI/NIST) at Maryland University in USA, supportedby CARB. Shereceived her AssociateProfessordegree at Ankara University in 2003. Dr. Demirkan joinedtoDepartment of Biology at UludagUniversity in 2007, and is currentlyworking at the sameuniversity as Prof. Dr.
