Dr. P. Velayutham
At present Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Botany, Government Arts College (Autonomous), Karur - INDIA. Completed M.Sc. Botany (1981 - Madras University, Chennai) and M.Sc. Bioinformatics (2007 - Bharathiar University, Coimbatore). Obtained Ph.D. Degree (2004) in Plant Science from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. Associated with Dr. M.S. Mani, an eminent Entomologist in a Research Project, Zoological Survey of India, Madras during 1982-85. Then served as Post Graduate Teacher in Government Higher Secondary Schools for more than 13 years. Now, for the past 18 years, involved in both academic and research activities in collegiate service.
