Dr. Gbolabo Olaitan Onasanya

Gbolabo Olaitan Onasanya is a lecturer of Animal Molecular Biotechnology and Genomics at department of Animal Science, Federal University Dutse, Nigeria. I have done some research work in animal breeding with emphasis on sheep, goat and poultry. My current research interest focuses on thermo-regulatory functions and polymorphism of Heat Shock Factor and Heat Shock Protein genes in tropical cattle, sheep and goat. I was a research PhD Research Fellow to Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai, India, under government of India funded Research Training Fellowship for Developing Country Scientist Fellowship (RTF-DCS. I was a research awardee of India Science Academy (INSA JRD-TATA) fellowship. I have many published research articles in scholarly journals both locally and internationally. I am a reviewer to many International and local peer review journals. I am a member of many professional associations among which are, Genetic Society of Nigeria (GSN), Biotechnology Society of Nigeria, Animal Science Society of Nigeria etc. I write humble to confirm my willingness to accept the position of academic editor of Asian Journal of Bioresource Technology requested.
