Dr. Matheus Poletto

Matheus Poletto is a professor and researcher at the University of Caxias do Sul. He is an expert in natural materials and composite science, working with cellulosic and lignocellulosic materials. He has published over 100 scientific and conference papers, books and several book chapters. He obtained the degree in Chemical Engineering and master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Caxias do Sul, Brazil, and his PhD in Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 2014. Professor Poletto currently works with cellulosic and lignocellulosic materials studying the effect of fiber composition on the thermal and mechanical properties of polymer composite materials. He is also a member of the Polymer Research group from the University of Caxias do Sul.
